Currently, PM Group is driving growth in the data centre industry and is seeking an energetic Business Development Director to spearhead expansion in this area. This key position focuses on increasing revenue, strengthening client partnerships, and positioning PM Group as a leading partner in the evolving data centre market.

This role is flexible in location within any PM Group office across Ireland, United Kingdom, Belgium, Germany, Poland, or the Netherlands.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and secure new business opportunities in the data centre sector.
• Create and implement strategies to boost revenue and market presence.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders.
• Collaborate closely with engineering and project teams to provide solutions tailored to client requirements.
• Lead the preparation of bids, tenders, and negotiate contracts effectively.
• Deliver engaging presentations and proposals to potential clients.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and new technologies through thorough research.
• Represent PM Group at industry events, networking opportunities, and conferences to promote company values and offerings.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field.
• Proven business development experience in data centres, engineering consultancy, or construction sectors.
• Established networking connections within the European data centre industry.
• Strong technical understanding of data centre design, construction, and operations.
• Outstanding communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Track record of meeting sales objectives and fostering business growth.
• Self-driven, goal-oriented, and comfortable working both independently and collaboratively.
• Willingness and ability to travel as necessary.
