Business Development Associate - Field Sales

Overview

Axis Bank is seeking Business Development Associates to join their off-roll field sales team in North West Delhi. This position involves direct customer interaction and requires traveling within a designated area to generate new business opportunities for the bank.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct visits to existing and prospective customers within the assigned region.
• Identify and generate new sales leads through face-to-face interactions.
• Present and explain the range of Axis Bank's products and services to potential clients.
• Acquire new customers and work towards meeting sales targets set by the bank.
• Follow up with prospects and convert leads into confirmed business accounts.
• Maintain positive relationships with customers for sustained business growth.
• Coordinate onboarding and other requirements with the bank's branch or team.
• Provide regular updates on sales activities and customer feedback to the reporting manager.

Candidate Profile

• Must hold a graduate degree in any discipline.
• Open to fresh graduates; maximum age limit is 28 years.
• Possession of a two-wheeler (bike or scooter) and a valid driving license is required.
• Should have access to all semester mark sheets.
• Good communication and persuasive abilities are essential.
• Able and willing to travel extensively as part of the daily field sales activities.
• Motivated by a target-orientated work environment.

Work Schedule

Candidates should be prepared to work during standard banking hours and manage frequent field visits and travel as part of normal job duties.

Compensation and Benefits

• Monthly take-home salary between ₹17,500 and ₹18,000.
• Total CTC approximates ₹2.48 lakh per annum.
• Performance-based incentives are available.
• No petrol allowance is provided.
• Work location will be allocated based on residential proximity to the nearest Axis Bank branch.

Selection Procedure

• Face-to-face interview at Axis Bank's Punjabi Bagh West branch.
• HirePro online test lasting 40 minutes.
• Five days of online banking training followed by the ACP final test.
• Document verification and background check.
• Issuance of offer letter and branch assignment prior to joining.

Additional Information

This is a fully field-based sales position requiring daily travel and customer acquisition efforts. Candidates must be comfortable working on the road and meeting business targets.
