About Thyrocare
Thyrocare Technologies Limited stands as India's pioneering fully automated diagnostic laboratory, committed to providing quality testing services at reasonable costs for laboratories and hospitals. Operating a Centralized Processing Laboratory in Mumbai and Regional Processing Laboratories across eight major metropolitan cities in India and Asia, Thyrocare processes over 200,000 clinical chemistry tests daily from approximately 50,000 specimens. Thyrocare was the first private laboratory in India approved by ICMR for COVID-19 testing.
Role Overview
The Business Analyst will collaborate closely with Business Teams to facilitate data-driven decision-making. This role demands effective communication across Business, Product, and Data Engineering teams. Besides addressing immediate business challenges, the analyst will translate data exploration and mining findings into actionable recommendations and ensure their implementation.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather business requirements from relevant teams, identify core business problems, and develop scalable solutions.
- Extract and explore data from databases and other sources; perform thorough data cleaning including managing missing values.
- Transform cleaned data into meaningful insights and communicate these to the appropriate stakeholders.
- Automate recurring data-related processes and solutions to enhance efficiency.
- Report any data integrity or consistency issues to the Data Engineering team.
- Monitor and ensure that recommended actions based on insights are executed.
- Validate and approve new business requirements comprehensively.
- Facilitate knowledge sharing within the team and with other departments as needed.
Candidate Requirements
- 2 to 4 years of relevant experience, ideally in a consumer-oriented organization.
- Strong proficiency in SQL and/or HQL, capable of handling complex queries including inner joins.
- Experienced with Google Sheets or Microsoft Excel for data cleaning, pivoting, and analysis.
- Knowledgeable in at least one data visualization tool such as Tableau, Power BI, MicroStrategy, or Metabase.
- Basic automation aptitude within Google Sheets or Excel.
- Hands-on experience with Python programming focused on data analytics.
- Familiarity with machine learning and data science algorithms is advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively gather business requirements and present insights.
- Strong curiosity and investigatory approach towards data.
Educational Eligibility
