Role Overview
The IT Business Analyst will support Gildan's software application suite by diagnosing organizational information challenges, analyzing system requirements, conceptualizing solutions, recommending system protocols, and training users. This role reports directly to the IT Director and plays a critical role in system improvements and project tracking.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify operational goals by examining business functions, collecting information, and assessing output needs and formats.
- Create solution designs by analyzing necessities, developing workflow diagrams, assessing system capacities, and drafting detailed specifications.
- Enhance existing systems by reviewing current methodologies and proposing modifications.
- Advise on control measures by diagnosing issues and formulating improved procedures.
- Oversee project progress through activity tracking, problem resolution, generating progress reports, and recommending necessary actions.
- Uphold system standards by composing and updating procedural documentation.
- Compile technical reports by gathering, assessing, and summarizing data and trends.
Candidate Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology.
- Minimum five years of experience in corporate systems analysis and design.
- Strong abilities in problem-solving and critical thinking.
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
- Well-developed organizational capabilities.
- Capability to work autonomously and meet tight deadlines.
- Meticulous attention to detail.
