Role Summary

The Pricing Analyst works within the Strategic Forecasting and Pricing Department under the guidance of the Pricing Supervisor. This role is pivotal in researching and evaluating market conditions, competitor pricing, and internal costs to formulate pricing strategies aimed at maximizing profitability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess corporate expenses, industry pricing benchmarks, and market sales data.
  • Detect pricing adjustment opportunities to enhance revenue and profit margins.
  • Prepare and communicate pricing analyses and recommendations to organizational stakeholders for informed decisions.
  • Conduct competitive intelligence reviews and maintain pricing data accuracy.
  • Investigate pricing discrepancies, including credit audits and pricing holds, to determine underlying causes.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Data Analytics, or related field.
  • Minimum 1-2 years of relevant professional experience.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to juggle multiple priorities efficiently.
  • Meticulous attention to detail coupled with strong multitasking capability.
  • Proficiency in advanced Microsoft Excel functions such as PivotTables, Power Query, and lookup formulas.
  • Solid analytical aptitude for interpreting data trends, preparing insightful reports, and facilitating data-driven decisions.
  • Experience with data visualization and analytics software like Power BI or Tableau.
  • Competency in managing large datasets while ensuring data integrity and clarity in communication of analytical findings.
