Business Analyst

About the Role

We are seeking a Business Analyst with strong bilingual skills in Arabic and English to support a significant enterprise Mendix program hosted on Microsoft Azure. This role involves bridging communication between Arabic-speaking business stakeholders and the delivery team, focusing on requirements gathering, process analysis, and documentation for web and native mobile applications.

Responsibilities

• Conduct requirement workshops with Arabic-speaking stakeholders both on-site in Dubai and remotely.
• Analyze and document current and desired business processes, including creating process maps, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Evaluate an existing live platform to distinguish between reusable and newly required features.
• Define detailed functional requirements for integrations with various enterprise and government systems, collaborating closely with architects and integration developers.
• Create specifications for bilingual Arabic/English content, ensuring proper right-to-left layouts, forms, notifications, and business rules.
• Manage the requirements traceability matrix and aid in scope control within a fixed-scope delivery model.
• Support quality assurance with test scenario development, and lead or assist in user acceptance testing involving business users.
• Facilitate go-live support, including data setup, post-launch stabilization, and preparation of user and handover documentation.

Qualifications and Experience

• Over 5 years of experience in IT, with at least 3 years functioning specifically as a Business Analyst.
• Fluent in Arabic and English, with excellent business writing skills in both languages.
• Proficient in requirements elicitation, process modeling (using BPMN or similar), user story creation, and acceptance criteria definition.
• Experience working on enterprise web or mobile application projects.
• Demonstrated experience managing user acceptance testing coordination and maintaining requirements traceability.

Preferred Skills and Advantages

• Knowledge or certification in Mendix low-code platform (please provide certification level and ID, if applicable).
• Experience delivering projects within government or regulated industries.
• Background in financial, asset management, or case management systems.
• Understanding of integration requirements including ESB/API environments, digital identity solutions, and electronic signatures.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies; certifications such as CBAP, CCBA, or PMI-PBA are valued.
• Previous work experience in the Middle East region is a plus.
