Role Overview

The BTEC Business Teacher will join GWA’s acclaimed Business & Economics department, recognized for elevating student achievement and nurturing enthusiasm for learning. This department prides itself on dedicated, knowledgeable staff and an innovative curriculum driven by data insights. It is known among students for its personalized attention and supportive culture. The position requires an immediate start.

Candidate Profile and Requirements

• Possess a Bachelor's degree in Education or an initial degree paired with a relevant teaching qualification such as PGCE, PGDE, or a related Business specialization.
• Preferred but not mandatory to hold advanced qualifications.
• Minimum of three years teaching experience in Secondary Business subjects; experience in IB curriculum schools is advantageous but not essential.
• Preferably familiar with the IB Diploma Programme framework and Approaches to Teaching.
• A passionate commitment to continuous professional improvement and delivering exceptional teaching experiences.
• Alignment with the IB philosophy and Learner Profile values is essential.
• Interest in working within a multicultural, non-selective community.
• Readiness to commence employment immediately.
