Responsibilities

• Implement curriculum effectively with thorough and current knowledge.
• Design and conduct motivating lessons using varied materials suitable for different student learning preferences.
• Maintain documented lesson plans, attendance records, teaching resources, and assessment schemes.
• Conduct personalized instruction to meet individual student needs, including those with ESL, varying academic abilities, or giftedness.
• Mark and evaluate student work, tracking progress and using assessments to adapt the curriculum accordingly.
• Integrate multimedia and technology tools within classroom activities.
• Support student welfare and provide educational guidance.
• Collaborate with colleagues in preparing teaching materials, resources, curriculum development, and managing pastoral care.
• Oversee student behavior, implementing strategies for discipline and managing disruptions effectively.
• Communicate and engage with parents consistently to discuss student progress, uphold school philosophies, and ensure confidentiality.

Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Islamic Studies is essential.
• Strong commitment to teaching and learning with firm expertise in the subject area.
• Excellent communication skills for building positive relationships with students and staff and contributing to the broader school community.
• At least two years of teaching experience in the relevant subject and age group.
