Job Overview

The role involves delivering well-structured Arabic lessons aligned with departmental schemes, catering to both Arabic speakers (Arabic A) and non-speakers (Arabic B), following the relevant curriculum or exam specifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed lesson plans using the school's Teacher Planner or equivalent tools to ensure adherence to approved curriculums and procedures.
• Conduct lessons consistent with the school's Policy for Learning and assess students' work as per departmental marking guidelines.
• Evaluate student progress systematically through departmental assessment policies and maintain comprehensive records of academic achievements.
• Assign and evaluate homework according to the Home Learning Policy, ensuring students utilize the Student Planner correctly and are well-prepared for examinations.
• Participate in writing, updating schemes of work, and sharing best practices, ideas, and resources within the department to enhance teaching quality.

Qualifications and Skills

• A bachelor's degree is required.
• Proficient in teaching Arabic to both native and non-native speakers.
• Possess strong interpersonal abilities to establish effective working relationships with students and colleagues.
• Previous experience of at least two years in school teaching is considered advantageous.
