Branch Assistant

Role Overview

In the position of Branch Assistant, you will be pivotal in managing and maintaining our branch's equipment inventory. Ensuring every item is ready for use entails testing and operating equipment regularly and coordinating repairs with specialist Fitters as needed. Occasionally, you will also be tasked with delivering equipment locally, so possession of a valid full UK driving licence is required.

Primary Responsibilities

• Maintain correct and safe storage protocols for all equipment.
• Conduct routine tests and operation checks on tools to verify functionality, referring any faults to Fitters promptly.
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety at Work standards and uphold overall branch cleanliness and presentation rigorously.
• Perform occasional local deliveries, mandating a clean full UK driving licence.

Candidate Profile

• Demonstrates interest in tools and small machinery.
• Exhibits a positive attitude paired with a genuine commitment to outstanding service delivery.
• Works well within team environments, showing cooperative spirit.
• Holds a current valid UK driving licence for delivery responsibilities.
• Knowledge or experience with repairing and maintaining small tools, including Test and Run processes, is advantageous.
