Overview
We are seeking an experienced Boutique Manager responsible for overseeing retail operations to meet and surpass sales targets while ensuring excellent customer service and team management. The role demands strong leadership, strategic planning, and a deep passion for luxury watches and jewellery.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive monthly, quarterly, and yearly sales to achieve or exceed targets.
- Create and execute strategic plans aimed at maximizing sales and profitability.
- Monitor critical KPIs such as conversion rates, transaction averages, and client retention.
- Support and assist boutique team members in meeting their sales goals.
- Evaluate market trends and sales data to identify opportunities for growth and potential challenges.
- Manage the boutique’s budgeting processes on a quarterly and annual basis.
- Prepare monthly sales reports and proposals, including competitor analysis.
- Provide leadership, motivation, and development for a high-performing team.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and coaching for staff enhancement.
- Identify talent and plan succession within the team structure.
- Promote a client-centric, cooperative, and accountable workplace culture.
- Lead client acquisition efforts through effective follow-up and outreach strategies.
- Recommend marketing initiatives to boost sales and engagement.
- Maintain strong relationships with VIP and high-net-worth customers.
- Ensure compliance with discount policies and work to minimize average discount levels.
- Maintain a professional and welcoming boutique environment.
- Enforce stringent stock security protocols and oversee inventory management.
- Communicate business updates to management and manage administrative duties efficiently.
- Organize monthly staff rosters and ensure smooth onboarding of new employees.
- Participate in client entertainment events and seminars as needed.
Requirements
- Possession of a diploma or higher educational qualification.
- At least 10 years of retail experience, including 4 years in a supervisory role.
- Excellent customer relationship management skills with an existing client base.
- Knowledgeable in high jewellery and complex watch items.
- Strong passion for watches and jewellery, with sound understanding of retail operations.
- Proficiency with MS Office and reporting software tools.
- Outstanding leadership and communication abilities.
- Ability to perform under pressure in a target-driven sales environment.
- Positive demeanor focused on customer satisfaction.
