Job Overview

Care Body Corporate Ltd is seeking a motivated and organised Body Corporate Manager to join its team in Rosedale, North Shore, Auckland. This is a permanent full-time role with options for hybrid work arrangements depending on experience and suitability. The company supports growth and development within the specialised field of Body Corporate management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations related to Body Corporate and Residents' Society matters and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Organise, attend, and chair Annual General Meetings and committee meetings.
  • Coordinate maintenance activities, manage contractors, and handle property-related concerns.
  • Manage correspondence and enquiries, track meeting actions, and ensure completion of outstanding tasks.
  • Provide client assistance with governance, service contracts, legislative compliance, and management of governing documents.
  • Prepare budgets and analyze financial reports in collaboration with the accounts department.
  • Apply practical judgement and solution-oriented thinking to resolve arising issues.
  • Collaborate closely with administration and accounts teams to uphold high service standards.

Candidate Profile

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Confidence in client engagement and chairing meetings.
  • Accountability to manage and complete assigned matters independently.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and sound judgement.
  • High organisational skills with capability to balance multiple priorities.
  • Attention to detail and thoroughness in handling information.
  • Proactive work style, including knowing when to escalate issues.
  • Comfortable navigating cloud-based systems and adopting new technologies.
  • Positive, practical mindset focused on finding solutions.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.

Preference is given to candidates with two or more years of direct Body Corporate Management experience. However, applicants from related fields in property management, facilities management, real estate, property administration, or similar client-facing roles who demonstrate aptitude and eagerness to grow in Body Corporate Management will also be considered. Familiarity with the Unit Titles Act and experience working with Residents' Societies is advantageous.
