Blending Operator

Role Overview

Join Asahi Beverages at our Papakura facility in Auckland as a Blending Operator, where you'll be integral to producing the beverages enjoyed by our customers. Reporting directly to the Blending Coordinator, you'll collaborate with your team to ensure seamless operations of the blending process, meeting production deadlines and specifications precisely and timely.

Note: This is an 8-month fixed-term contract involving 8-hour rotating shifts covering day, afternoon, and night slots. Shift patterns may be adjusted based on business requirements.

Key Duties

• Operate as a central figure in blending diverse product lines.
• Correctly interpret recipes and convert them into products through precise weighing, measuring, calculating, and combining of raw ingredients.
• Follow established procedures to avoid product wastage.
• Complete all required documentation accurately.
• Be flexible and assist with other production and process tasks as necessary.
• Control raw material usage to minimize ingredient waste.
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas, equipment, and utensils; manage waste disposal responsibly.
• Communicate effectively with colleagues and supervisors via verbal, phone, or email channels.
• Quickly identify and resolve issues, escalating anomalies when necessary.
• Promote and maintain workplace safety for yourself and others, consistently using personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Actively engage in team meetings and related activities.

The role involves manual handling duties requiring the capability to safely lift items up to 25 kilograms using correct techniques.
