Role Overview
The BizOps Site Reliability Engineer plays a critical role in supporting application production environments, ensuring stability and performance across distributed systems. This role demands expertise in production support, incident management, SRE principles, and collaboration with multiple teams under pressure.
Key Responsibilities and Skills
- Providing robust application production support leveraging Linux, SQL, and cloud technologies.
- Utilizing monitoring and alerting tools such as Splunk, Dynatrace, and BlazeMeter to maintain system health and performance.
- Managing CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins and implementing DevOps practices to automate software delivery and deployment.
- Handling incident management processes effectively to minimize downtime and impact.
- Supporting cloud applications hosted on AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform, and PCF environments.
- Engaging in cross-team collaboration and stakeholder management with strong communication skills.
- Applying scripting skills to facilitate automation and system troubleshooting.
- Demonstrating an interest in design, analysis, and problem-solving for large-scale distributed software systems.
- Organizing, multitasking, and prioritizing work independently in alignment with business priorities.
Preferred Experience
- Experience in payment systems ecosystem considered advantageous.
- Prior involvement in BizOps, SRE, or production support roles.
