BIM Team Lead

About the Company and Role

PE Global is collaborating with a specialized data centre delivery partner headquartered in Dublin, providing turnkey design and construction solutions across civil, structural, architectural, mechanical, and electrical disciplines throughout Europe. Currently, they are executing multiple large-scale data centre projects across nine European countries with a combined IT load exceeding 311MW. The company is seeking a experienced BIM Team Lead for a fully on-site position in North Dublin.

Key Responsibilities

• Hold comprehensive accountability for BIM execution on the project.
• Collaborate closely with the site team, subcontractors, and clients to ensure adherence to established BIM protocols.
• Oversee a team of BIM Coordinators and Technicians to fulfill BIM deliverables effectively.
• Work alongside package managers and site engineers to coordinate intricate MEP system installations.
• Offer guidance and mentorship to junior BIM team members and site personnel.
• Participate in research and development efforts to advance BIM technology and associated processes.
• Identify and resolve design clashes and coordination challenges between various disciplines.
• Create drawings, specifications, and schedules in line with the project's BIM Execution Plan.

Candidate Requirements

• Strong expertise in Revit with emphasis on MEP systems.
• Prior experience with AutoCAD is advantageous.
• Familiarity with Navisworks is preferred.
• Minimum of 8 years working on multiple large-scale projects.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field.
• Exceptional organizational, communication, and time management capabilities.
