Position Overview

As an integral part of the Design and Engineering division, the BIM Coordinator will spearhead the advancement, harmonization, and enforcement of Building Information Modelling (BIM) methodologies and standards across diverse multidisciplinary projects. This role is pivotal in safeguarding the accuracy and integrity of BIM models and ensuring seamless collaboration among design teams and stakeholders.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Oversee BIM workflows to guarantee model precision, consistency, and adherence to established BIM Execution Plans (BEPs).
• Manage and consolidate models from various disciplines including architecture, structural, and MEP, facilitating coordination and clash detection.
• Support project groups in initiating, developing, and overseeing BIM models throughout both design and construction stages.
• Perform thorough quality assessments and address model-related challenges to uphold model quality and data integrity.
• Contribute to the creation and continual refinement of BIM documentation, standards, templates, and procedures.
• Work in close partnership with design managers, discipline leaders, and contractors to ensure project alignment.
• Provide BIM technical assistance, mentorship, and training to project participants.

Qualifications and Experience

• A Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 10 years’ BIM coordination experience in multidisciplinary design or infrastructure projects.
• Proficient use of Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, and other BIM software.
• Familiarity with Common Data Environment (CDE) platforms such as BIM 360, ACC, or Aconex.
• Proven experience managing BIM on extensive or complex projects.
• Knowledge of international BIM standards like ISO 19650 or equivalents.
