Job description

About Arangath

Arangath is a UK-registered BIM consultancy specializing in ISO 19650-compliant coordination, information management, and digital delivery for civil and water infrastructure projects. Operating through a UK-India delivery model, the company has client-facing operations in London and production centers in Kochi and Mumbai, serving contractors and developers in both the UK (notably through the AMP8 investment cycle) and India.

Role Overview

The BIM Manager / Founder's Associate will lead the BIM delivery efforts of Arangath's Kochi team. This dual-scope position combines hands-on BIM leadership with strategic collaboration alongside the founders to scale the company's delivery standards, hiring, and client technical engagement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and enforce BIM standards, procedures, and workflows adapted to ISO 19650 and suited to civil infrastructure projects, particularly water and wastewater domains.
  • Oversee BIM model management for ongoing projects, maintaining precision, version control, and quality aligned with Levels of Development (LOD).
  • Establish and administer project Common Data Environments (CDE), ensuring timely and accurate information exchange with clients and consultants.
  • Provide direct support for design and modeling teams as the lead contact for BIM-related matters.
  • Perform consistent BIM model audits and quality control to preempt and resolve implementation issues before client delivery.
  • Coordinate BIM integration across disciplines ensuring project standards are met or surpassed.
  • Manage information exchange and ensure compliance with Employer’s Information Requirements (EIR) and model submissions in a multidisciplinary environment.
  • Maintain thorough BIM-related documentation including production reports, clash detection logs, coordination meeting minutes, and issue tracking.

Team and Resource Management

  • Develop and manage project schedules, monitor task progress, and identify potential delays promptly.
  • Prepare weekly reports on project advancement, resource allocation, and hiring needs for company founders.
  • Support recruitment, evaluation, and onboarding of BIM and modeling personnel.
  • Mentor team members to enhance BIM skills and workflows and conduct performance evaluations.
  • Oversee software licensing, installations, updates, and assess new BIM software tools.

Strategic Support as Founder's Associate

  • Partner directly with company founders to guide delivery strategies as the business transitions to scalable repeatable operations.
  • Translate client and market needs into internal standards, templates, and reusable BIM content libraries.
  • Act as a technical representative alongside founders during client engagements, bolstering the company's credibility.
  • Contribute to development of operational workflows, tooling, and team structure expansion in the Kochi office.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture, Civil or Construction Engineering, or related discipline.
  • Between 6 to 10 years of BIM delivery experience in civil infrastructure, with at least 2 to 3 years in project or team management roles.
  • Proficient in Revit, Navisworks, and Common Data Environment platforms such as BIM 360, ACC, or Revizto.
  • Working knowledge of ISO 19650 standards and principles.
  • Strong background in construction documentation, quality assurance, and constructability review.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for direct interaction with company founders and UK-based clients.
  • Ability to thrive in an early-stage company environment with less structured processes and greater ownership demands.
  • Experience in water or wastewater sector projects is advantageous but not mandatory.

Compensation and Benefits

The role offers a competitive annual salary between 1,200,000 to 1,400,000 INR along with a variable performance bonus linked directly to delivery outcomes.
