About The Role

The Warehouse Group is establishing a Transformation and Delivery function that will significantly influence the future of the organization. We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Project Manager to join this initiative. This position offers a unique chance to lead key strategic projects, enhance delivery capabilities across the company, and contribute to the ongoing development of the function.

Our organization proudly supports renowned retail brands, including The Warehouse, Warehouse Stationery, and Noel Leeming.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead planning and execution of complex, high-risk, high-value, or high-profile projects.
  • Define and maintain project scope, delivery methodologies, milestones, and critical paths.
  • Manage full lifecycle delivery aligned with objectives, timelines, budgets, and scope.
  • Oversee RAID (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies) for complicated projects.
  • Determine project resource needs and coordinate mobilisation efforts.
  • Develop and maintain governance documentation, status updates, decision briefs, and escalation reports.
  • Collaborate with business owners, sponsors, and senior stakeholders to ensure alignment of delivery goals.

Additional Contributions

Beyond project delivery, you will elevate the organization's project management maturity by mentoring colleagues, sharing best practices, and driving a culture of consistent delivery excellence to achieve intended benefits.

Candidate Profile

  • Extensive experience managing complex, enterprise-scale, high-risk, or high-value projects; retail sector experience is advantageous.
  • Advanced skills in project planning, critical path oversight, governance, reporting, and delivery assurance.
  • Strong dedication to enhancing project delivery capabilities.
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity, balance competing priorities, and mitigate delivery risks effectively.
  • Proficient at translating complex situations into clear strategies, decisions, and actionable steps.
  • Excellent analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
