About The Role
The Warehouse Group is establishing a Transformation and Delivery function aimed at shaping its future. As a Technology Portfolio Manager, you will oversee strategic planning and coordination across the Oracle Retail portfolio, focusing on vital buy, move, and sell capabilities essential to smooth retail operations. Collaborating closely with both business and technology leaders, you will guide prioritization, manage interdependencies, assess risks, and provide insights to support confident decision-making throughout the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead portfolio planning and maintain visibility across the Oracle Retail ecosystem, encompassing Plan, Buy, Move, and Sell capabilities.
- Translate retail business priorities into technology demands and investment decisions.
- Partner with business and technology stakeholders to prioritize initiatives, manage dependencies, and align delivery roadmaps while maintaining an integrated view of technology across the domain.
- Deliver insights and recommendations to facilitate technology planning, governance, and investment discussions.
- Identify and address risks, constraints, and sequencing factors to enhance delivery confidence and decision-making.
- Support consolidation of business, transformation, and portfolio delivery initiatives into a comprehensive enterprise plan.
- Serve as a trusted advisor, assisting leaders in informed decision-making while programme and project teams maintain delivery ownership.
Candidate Profile
- Experience in enterprise transformation, portfolio, or programme management.
- Previous work within large, complex organizations, preferably in retail.
- Strong knowledge of technology platforms and delivery environments, especially Oracle systems.
- Comfortable navigating complexity, ambiguity, and competing priorities.
- Skilled in influencing senior stakeholders and facilitating challenging trade-off discussions.
- Proven expertise in enterprise portfolio planning, integrated planning, or managing large-scale programmes.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement, facilitation, negotiation, and influencing abilities.
