About the Role
Join DSV, a global leader in transport and logistics, as a Billing Specialist based in Feltham, England. The position involves full-time onsite work from Tuesday to Saturday, 9:00am to 5:00pm. The role is ideal for individuals who are detail-oriented, innovative thinkers and strong team players, motivated to enhance the accuracy and efficiency of invoicing both clients and overseas offices.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage billing tasks related to imports and exports for customers and overseas agents.
- Monitor and control intercompany costs.
- Handle and resolve invoicing discrepancies and related queries within the company.
- Update internal systems (CW1) with new client rate information.
- Maintain direct communication with overseas offices, agents, and customers to facilitate billing processes.
Candidate Profile
- Possess a foundational understanding of client rates or quotations for air or ocean freight services.
- Familiar with the transport and logistics industry and its related sectors.
- Exhibit strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office 365 applications including Excel, SharePoint, and Teams.
- Capable of meeting deadlines and targets efficiently.
- Display excellent attention to detail and accuracy in work.
- Function effectively as a collaborative team member.
