Job Role

This full-time position, located in Salem, focuses on Billing and Quantity Surveying responsibilities. The role entails preparing and scrutinizing client billing documents, managing invoicing timelines, and ensuring precision in quantity and cost documentation for active projects.

Key Duties

• Liaise with project teams to validate measurements and update quantity sheets.
• Reconcile billing information with on-site records to maintain billing accuracy.
• Support tender processes and cost estimation tasks as required.
• Communicate clearly with clients and internal teams to resolve billing inquiries and manage payment follow-ups.
• Keep detailed and organized records, assist in periodic cost reporting, and identify opportunities to enhance billing and quantity surveying workflows.

Preferred Qualifications and Skills

• Competence in managing complete project billing cycles and client billing processes.
• Proficiency in invoice preparation, review, and tracking with rigorous attention to detail.
• Basic accounting knowledge related to cost tracking, reconciliation, and financial record keeping.
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities for effective collaboration with diverse stakeholders.
• Educational background with a diploma or degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a similar discipline is advantageous.
• Experience in quantity surveying, construction billing, or working within cost consultancy is beneficial.
• Familiarity with MS Excel and pertinent billing or measurement software tools is desirable.
• Ability to maintain precision under deadlines, uphold organized documentation, and adhere to ethical and professional standards.
