Role Summary

We are looking to strengthen our Commercial Team with a Bid Manager based remotely in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. Reporting to the Asia Pacific Director and collaborating with the Bid Unit Head in Brussels, this role is critical in leading commercial initiatives across the Asia-Pacific market.

Key Responsibilities

• Tracking and monitoring upcoming projects.
• Preparing pre-qualification and comprehensive proposal documents, including administrative and technical sections.
• Building and managing strategic partnerships to support bidding efforts.
• Conducting commercial missions in Asia-Pacific to engage clients and partners as needed.
• Ensuring proposals meet client requirements and standards.
• Conducting detailed risk assessments for proposals and projects, developing mitigation plans.
• Coordinating technical and financial proposal preparations and drafting preliminary tender budgets.
• Handling internal procedures for initiating new projects and participating in meetings with Project Managers, Controllers, and Partners.

Candidate Profile

• Fluent English skills; additional language proficiency is strongly advantageous.
• Master's degree from an engineering or business school or university.
• At least five years' experience preparing proposals for international organizations like EU, EIB, AFD, WB, with in-depth knowledge of their project methodologies and procedures.
• Understanding of the expectations of institutional stakeholders such as donors and project owners.
• Experience working in development project implementation is a valuable plus.
