BI Developer/Consultant

Role Overview

We are seeking a knowledgeable BI Developer/Consultant to join our team on site in Riyadh, KSA. The ideal candidate will possess 4 to 6 years of comprehensive experience in designing and deploying business intelligence solutions from start to finish, including data modeling, visualization, and deployment.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Proven 4–6+ years in creating end-to-end BI solutions involving data modeling, report/dashboard development, and deployment.
• Expertise in at least one major BI platform such as Power BI, Tableau, or Qlik, with strong hands-on capabilities.
• Advanced SQL skills including query optimization, writing stored procedures, and managing complex joins.
• Experience in data modeling techniques like star schema and dimensional modeling.
• Proficiency in ETL/ELT processes, with the ability to develop and debug data pipelines that feed BI layers.
• Capability to directly interact with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into actionable reports and dashboards, reflecting consulting skills beyond just report building.
• Skill in DAX or an equivalent calculation language where relevant, especially in Power BI environments.

Desirable Additional Expertise

• Familiarity with Microsoft Fabric or comparable unified analytics platforms.
• Knowledge of Python or R to support advanced analytics for integration into BI solutions.
• Experience delivering presentations to executive and C-suite audiences.
• Domain knowledge related to operations, logistics, parking, or municipal data sectors.
• Proficient Arabic language skills are essential.
• Understanding of data governance principles and implementation of row-level security measures.
• Background in consulting with client-facing roles, including scoping and stakeholder management.
