Overview

Serving as a Bell Captain at The Ritz-Carlton, Melbourne, is about more than just greeting guests; it is the first posture of our celebrated service commitment. Key Responsibilities

  • Represent the hotel by creating memorable experiences from guests' arrival through their departure.
  • Manage guest vehicle parking securely and handle luggage and amenities following hotel guidelines.
  • Lead and supervise the bell staff and support front office associates in daily operations.
  • Motivate and support team members, fostering empowerment and collaboration.
  • Escort guests to their rooms, showcasing room features and hotel services.
  • Become an expert on the hotel and local area to exceed guest expectations.
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with guests to deliver our renowned service and encourage repeat visits.
  • Organize and facilitate team-building activities to support associates, who are valued assets.
  • Proactively anticipate and fulfill guest needs and requests promptly.
  • Serve as the primary contact for both internal and external clients related to the department.
  • Ensure adherence to all company policies and procedures by yourself and your team.

Candidate Profile

  • Must hold a valid driver's license.
  • Proven supervisory experience in a similar hospitality role.
  • Legal right to work in Australia.
  • Ambitious and eager to advance your career.
  • Self-driven, energetic, and capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment.
  • Problem-solver with a proactive and positive mindset.
