Role Overview

This full-time position is based on-site in Jeddah and involves operating a beamsaw machine to cut panels and boards per designated measurements and production plans. Responsibilities include machine setup, calibration, material loading, monitoring cutting processes to ensure accuracy while reducing waste, and performing routine maintenance along with safety verifications.

Key Duties

• Prepare and calibrate beamsaw machinery for daily operations.
• Load raw materials and oversee cutting cycles.
• Interpret technical drawings, cutting lists, and measurements accurately.
• Maintain cleanliness and organized workspace.
• Conduct basic machine maintenance and safety inspections.
• Collaborate effectively with production, quality control, and logistics teams.

Candidate Profile

• Proven skills operating beamsaw or comparable cutting equipment safely.
• Experience in furniture manufacturing, woodworking, or panel processing with various materials like wood composites and laminates.
• Ability to read and understand technical schematics and details meticulously.
• Familiarity with workplace safety standards and PPE compliance.
• Basic mechanical understanding for troubleshooting minor equipment issues and coordinating repairs.
• Capacity to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting panels and standing for long durations.
• Excellent teamwork and communication capabilities.
• Relevant vocational or technical certification and prior similar role experience are advantageous.
