CNC Machine Operator

Position Overview

We are looking for a skilled and certified CNC Machine Operator possessing 1 to 3 years of experience in handling CNC machinery. The role involves setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC equipment to manufacture precision components based on engineering designs and specifications.

Primary Duties

• Efficiently operate CNC milling and turning machines.
• Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications accurately.
• Set up appropriate tools, fixtures, and machine settings prior to production runs.
• Monitor machine operations continuously to ensure products adhere to quality criteria.
• Carry out basic maintenance tasks and cleaning of machines.
• Use precision measuring tools such as vernier calipers, micrometers, and gauges to inspect finished items.
• Document production data and promptly report operational issues to supervisors.
• Adhere strictly to safety protocols and organizational policies.

Required Competencies

• Strong understanding of CNC machine functions and control systems.
• Ability to read and comprehend technical drawings and job specifications.
• Basic familiarity with G-code and CNC programming is advantageous.
• Experience using measurement tools for product inspection.
• Good analytical and problem-solving abilities with keen attention to detail.
• Capability to collaborate effectively in team settings.

Educational and Professional Credentials

• Diploma or ITI certification in Mechanical Engineering or an allied discipline.
• Certification as a CNC Machine Operator is preferred.
• At least one year of practical experience operating CNC machinery within a manufacturing environment.

Salary

The monthly remuneration ranges between INR 35,000 and INR 40,000.
