BCAR Coordinator

Overview

Our client, one of Ireland's leading independent homebuilders focusing on large-scale developments for first-time buyers and families, is recruiting a BCAR Coordinator for a permanent, office-based position located in Ballycoolin, Dublin 15.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate all BCAR-related documentation and submissions across residential projects.
• Prepare and submit Building Control Amendment Regulation (BCAR) compliance submissions to the Assigned Certifier.
• Collaborate closely with project teams, architects, engineers, and local authorities to ensure adherence to Building Control regulations.
• Keep detailed records of inspections, documentation, and reports aligned with regulatory requirements.
• Assist site teams in applying BCAR-compliant processes and ensure inspections occur promptly.
• Stay updated on regulatory changes and advise project teams accordingly.
• Provide regular compliance progress reports and highlight potential risks to senior management.
• Organize HomeBond registrations for projects.
• Oversee the registration of utility services such as electrical and water connections (e.g., ESB, Eir, Irish Water).
• Perform additional ad hoc responsibilities as required by the team.

Candidate Requirements

• Demonstrated experience as a BCAR Coordinator or in a similar role focusing on compliance and inspections within the construction sector.
• In-depth understanding of Building Control (Amendment) Regulations and related legislation.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently in a dynamic work environment.
• Strong organizational capabilities with keen attention to detail.

Compensation and Benefits

The successful candidate will be offered a competitive starting salary of up to 45000 EUR annually, along with pension benefits.
