Job description
About the Role
We are looking for a passionate Basic Science Teacher to join our educational team at Al-Kharj City in the Riyadh Region. This role involves crafting and delivering well-structured lessons covering physics, mathematics, and scientific vocabulary, tailored for a diverse student body. The ideal candidate will engage learners actively and foster an environment supportive of curiosity and collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement lesson plans in physics, mathematics, and scientific terminology that meet curriculum benchmarks.
- Communicate complex scientific and mathematical concepts clearly using relatable examples tailored to varying student knowledge levels.
- Prepare instructional materials, learning activities, and evaluations that encourage critical thinking and effective problem solving.
- Monitor and evaluate student progress, supply meaningful feedback, and keep detailed records of attendance and achievements.
- Adapt teaching methods and materials to support students with different learning needs.
- Create and maintain a classroom atmosphere that is inclusive, safe, and conducive to collaborative learning.
- Work alongside colleagues to develop interdisciplinary teaching approaches and enhance instructional effectiveness.
- Integrate technology and digital resources to improve student engagement and educational outcomes.
- Engage in ongoing professional growth and contribute to school-wide programs and initiatives.
Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree in Physics, Mathematics, Education, or a related discipline is required; a master's degree is preferred.
- Teaching certification or license is favored; experience in teaching science or mathematics is essential.
- Thorough knowledge of physics, mathematics, and scientific terminology with the ability to simplify technical content for learners.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Cultural sensitivity and ability to collaborate effectively with students, parents, and school staff.
- Fluency in Arabic and English is highly preferred.
