Bartender

Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dependable Bartender to join the team at SardaarJi Haveli in Mumbai. The ideal candidate will have comprehensive knowledge of bar management, beverage preparation, and customer service, able to efficiently run the bar independently during restaurant hours.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks following standardized recipes.
• Manage daily bar operations smoothly and reliably.
• Maintain adequate stock levels and promptly notify management of any shortages.
• Ensure correct portion control to reduce waste.
• Keep the bar clean, hygienic, and well-organized at all times.
• Inspect and care for bar equipment, glassware, and supplies.
• Take and professionally serve drink orders to guests.
• Possess thorough knowledge of cocktails, mocktails, spirits, and beers.
• Handle billing accurately and coordinate with service staff effectively.
• Adhere to all restaurant standard operating procedures and legal liquor service guidelines.
• Maintain a professional appearance and grooming standards.
• Manage busy periods calmly and efficiently.

Candidate Profile

• Mandatory prior experience working as a bartender.
• Strong understanding of bar operations and drink service.
• Effective communication skills and ability to engage guests.
• Basic spoken English skills preferred.
• Presentable, smart, and well-groomed in appearance.
• Reliable, honest, and disciplined work ethic.
• Able to perform in a fast-paced restaurant setting.
• Experience in hotel or restaurant bar environments is advantageous.

Additional Information

Salary: INR 20,000 to INR 22,000 per month, commensurate with experience and suitability.
