Waiter / Steward

About the Role

We are seeking a polished, confident, and responsible Restaurant Steward to become part of our North Indian dining establishment located at SardaarJi Haveli, Mumbai. The role involves proficient guest interaction, efficient table service management, and upholding high operation standards for the restaurant.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet and attend guests courteously and professionally.
• Accurately take and process food and beverage orders.
• Describe menu items and offer suitable recommendations to guests.
• Ensure prompt and proper delivery of food and drinks.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards for tables and dining areas.
• Collaborate with kitchen and service teams to facilitate smooth operations.
• Handle guest requests and basic complaints tactfully.
• Prepare tables appropriately according to service guidelines.
• Assist in efficient restaurant functioning during peak hours.
• Adhere to all restaurant standard operating procedures, hygiene, and grooming norms.
• Provide support to the Restaurant Manager for daily floor activities.

Candidate Requirements

• Fluency in spoken English is essential.
• Prior experience in restaurant, hotel, or hospitality settings is preferred.
• Graduates of Hotel Management or Hospitality courses will be given added advantage.
• Strong communication skills and ability to manage guests effectively.
• Presentable, neat, and polished appearance.
• Positive mindset with eagerness to learn and adapt.
• Capability to thrive in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
• Experience working in North Indian or Punjabi restaurants is desirable.

Salary and Location

The monthly salary ranges from ₹17,000 to ₹20,000 depending on experience and suitability. This is a full-time, onsite position based in SardaarJi Haveli, Mumbai.
