About the Role
Join the team at Pier One Sydney Harbour, a prestigious five-star hotel located under the iconic Sydney Harbour Bridge. This role focuses on delivering exceptional food and beverage service, with an emphasis on preparing quality coffee and enhancing guest experiences through a warm, outgoing personality.
Key Responsibilities
- Interpret orders accurately and prepare beverages accordingly.
- Engage with guests by taking orders, utilizing product knowledge to suggest items, and maximizing sales opportunities.
- Ensure clear and precise communication of orders to the cashier and kitchen teams.
- Serve drinks and orders to guests promptly and efficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of tables and service areas following established procedures.
- Adhere to hygienic beverage preparation standards throughout service.
- Manage and take ownership of assigned sections and workstations.
Candidate Requirements
- Prior barista training and experience is essential.
- Possess an open-minded, creative approach to problem-solving and guest interaction.
