Job description
Role Overview
We are seeking a motivated Barista to join Compass Group Ireland, delivering expertly crafted beverages and exceptional customer service. This full-time role involves working 37.5 hours weekly from Monday to Friday.
Primary Duties
- Prepare and serve blended drinks and high-quality food items to delight customers.
- Maintain cleanliness of the bar area and ensure stock levels of clean mugs and plates.
- Process customer payments by cash and credit cards accurately.
- Operate brewing equipment, monitor its functioning, and report maintenance needs.
- Learn and apply knowledge of brewing methods, beverage blends, and food presentation.
- Represent Compass Group Ireland positively and uphold brand standards.
- Adhere strictly to Food Handling and Hygiene standards along with Health & Safety regulations.
Candidate Profile
- Excellent communication skills with an ability to build rapport with customers and team members.
- Prior customer service experience is preferred.
- Motivated and driven to achieve high standards and continuous improvement.
- Capable of taking initiative and making customer-focused decisions.
- Practical experience using coffee brewing equipment.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure with strong punctuality and dependability.
