Key Responsibilities

• Skillfully prepare various coffee drinks, including espresso, lattes, and cappuccinos, ensuring consistent taste and presentation.
• Welcome customers warmly and engage in pleasant conversations, sharing knowledge about our unique coffee products.
• Maintain and clean coffee-making equipment regularly; report any malfunctions promptly to ensure efficient operation.
• Demonstrate thorough understanding of coffee bean properties, extraction processes, and grind adjustments to achieve optimal flavor profiles.
• Keep the coffee station impeccably clean, organized, and well-stocked; adhere strictly to hygiene standards.
• Manage the dessert counter by monitoring display, rotating stock, and maintaining cleanliness, while being knowledgeable about allergens and intolerances; ensure desserts are attractively presented.
• Handle cash transactions accurately and securely maintain the cash drawer.
• Work effectively during busy periods to reduce customer waiting times.
• Adapt by cross-training in other Front of House tasks and exhibit flexibility in responsibilities.

Requirements

• At least one year of Barista experience is mandatory.
• Strong passion for coffee with a commitment to maintaining high-quality service standards.
• Excellent customer service capabilities.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Meticulous attention to detail and cleanliness.
• Basic math skills for handling cash payments.
• Understanding of health and safety regulations.
