Overview
Besfit is seeking a dependable and lively Bar Supervisor to join their team stationed on the picturesque Rottnest Island in Western Australia. This position is well-suited for holders of a second Working Holiday Visa aiming to extend their stay in Australia with a minimum six-month tenure, and is an excellent opportunity for those wanting to advance their hospitality career in an extraordinary and scenic location.
Primary Duties
- Oversee bar operations and support service staff during busy periods.
- Maintain control of inventory levels, participate in stocktaking activities, and help organize the bar's layout and operational procedures.
- Ensure adherence to Responsible Service of Alcohol regulations and workplace health and safety protocols.
- Assist in the training and development of junior team members to uphold high standards of service.
- Collaborate closely with management to enhance operational efficiency and the customer experience.
- Handle customer feedback and cultivate a friendly and engaging atmosphere.
Candidate Profile
- Minimum of two years experience in a supervisory or senior bartender position within a bar setting.
- Comprehensive knowledge of cocktail preparation and beverage service.
- Strong leadership abilities and excellent communication skills capable of motivating a team.
- Detail-oriented with the capability to manage stock and ordering processes effectively.
- Organized, proactive, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Positive mindset, energetic, and hands-on approach to work.
- Availability to commit to at least a six-month contract duration.
