Bar Supervisor

Overview

Besfit is seeking a dependable and lively Bar Supervisor to join their team stationed on the picturesque Rottnest Island in Western Australia. This position is well-suited for holders of a second Working Holiday Visa aiming to extend their stay in Australia with a minimum six-month tenure, and is an excellent opportunity for those wanting to advance their hospitality career in an extraordinary and scenic location.

Primary Duties

• Oversee bar operations and support service staff during busy periods.
• Maintain control of inventory levels, participate in stocktaking activities, and help organize the bar's layout and operational procedures.
• Ensure adherence to Responsible Service of Alcohol regulations and workplace health and safety protocols.
• Assist in the training and development of junior team members to uphold high standards of service.
• Collaborate closely with management to enhance operational efficiency and the customer experience.
• Handle customer feedback and cultivate a friendly and engaging atmosphere.

Candidate Profile

• Minimum of two years experience in a supervisory or senior bartender position within a bar setting.
• Comprehensive knowledge of cocktail preparation and beverage service.
• Strong leadership abilities and excellent communication skills capable of motivating a team.
• Detail-oriented with the capability to manage stock and ordering processes effectively.
• Organized, proactive, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Positive mindset, energetic, and hands-on approach to work.
• Availability to commit to at least a six-month contract duration.
