Role Overview
We are looking for a passionate and service-oriented Bar Back to join our Daylife Division Brands. This pivotal Front-of-House position involves supporting bartenders and maintaining high standards of luxury hospitality by ensuring well-stocked and clean bar stations and assisting throughout service periods.
Key Responsibilities
- Replenish bar stations with spirits, mixers, garnishes, ice, and glassware continuously during service.
- Prepare and manage garnishes, juices, and other bar mise en place before and during service.
- Provide support to bartenders during busy, high-volume times to ensure stations are fully stocked.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization by clearing and resetting bar stations regularly.
- Handle ice supplies, keg changes, and bottle restocking throughout operational hours.
- Assist in receiving deliveries, storing stock properly, and performing stock rotation.
- Uphold hygiene and safety protocols at all bar stations consistently.
- Contribute to bar setup before opening and breakdown after closing.
Candidate Requirements
- Previous experience as a Bar Back, Bar Porter, or similar role in hospitality settings like hotels or restaurants is preferred but not mandatory for strong, motivated entrants.
- Ability to maintain a rapid work pace during busy service periods.
- Physical fitness required to handle frequent lifting, stocking, and continuous movement during shifts.
- Awareness and adherence to hygiene and safety standards.
- Basic proficiency in English for effective communication.
- Willingness to work rotating shifts, including weekends and public holidays in a dynamic hospitality environment.
