Role Overview

As a Banking Consultant within Retail Banking, your role will focus on delivering a smooth banking experience by addressing customers’ comprehensive financial needs and objectives. You will engage in transactional activities, conduct needs-based consultations, and provide education on available financial solutions including digital platforms. Utilizing your knowledge and accreditation, you will complete transactions and fulfill product offerings. Primarily branch-based, you will offer exceptional customer service encouraging customers to become strong advocates for ANZ. Collaboration and peer coaching are key aspects as you contribute to a high-performing team environment.

Work Schedule and Location

This permanent, part-time position is located at 115 Charlotte Street, Cooktown, Queensland 4895. The expected working hours are Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM. No weekend shifts are required.

Daily Responsibilities

• Enhance customer engagement and advocacy, generating genuine value for clients.
• Support and participate in various bank programs and initiatives.
• Assume responsibility for customer risk awareness following compliance guidelines.
• Adhere strictly to ANZ’s and branch policies and procedures.

Candidate Profile

• Strong commitment to customer service excellence.
• Retail experience preferred but not mandatory.
• Proficient user and advocate of technology, with familiarity in multiple digital channels advantageous.
• Capability to multitask effectively and adapt to change and uncertainty.
• Enthusiastic about working collaboratively within a team setting.
• Sound understanding of compliance requirements.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
