Role Overview

The Banking Consultant, based in our Retail Banking division at Rockhampton branch, plays a vital role in delivering smooth banking experiences. You will support customers by addressing their complete financial needs - from routine transactions to in-depth discussions about suitable products, including promoting digital banking options. This customer-facing role requires proficiency in performing transactions and advising within accredited product areas. The position emphasizes exceptional customer service to ensure clients not only leave satisfied but become strong promoters of ANZ.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive banking services addressing end-to-end customer needs, including transactional tasks, needs-based financial conversations, and digital solution education.
• Collaborate within a team environment, serving as a role model and peer coach to enhance the overall customer experience.
• Drive improvements in customer engagement and advocacy, generating genuine value for clients.
• Engage actively in supporting bank programs and initiatives.
• Maintain thorough understanding of customers from a risk management perspective.

Candidate Profile

• Strong focus on customer service; prior retail experience is beneficial.
