Role Overview
The Senior Lead Workforce Surveying position is a key specialist leadership role within Workforce Strategy & Analytics. This role entails leading ANZ's enterprise-wide workforce surveying and employee listening initiatives. The incumbent will define and continuously improve ANZ's employee listening strategies, manage large-scale workforce surveys, and extract insightful data-driven workforce analytics. As the authority on the Qualtrics Employee Experience Platform, this role supports leaders in understanding employee experiences to inform strategic decisions.
Work Location and Type
This permanent, full-time role is based in Melbourne, Sydney, or Brisbane.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and steer the enterprise workforce surveying and employee listening approach, emphasizing ongoing enhancements and adoption of leading research and survey methodologies.
- Manage the full lifecycle of extensive employee surveys and self-service survey programs.
- Serve as the expert for the Qualtrics Employee Experience Platform, including its administration, improvement, and governance.
- Collaborate on designing survey platform integration with HRIS (SuccessFactors) and cloud-based analytics tools to generate actionable workforce insights.
- Work alongside stakeholders in Talent & Culture, Technology, and Risk to achieve strategic objectives in employee listening.
- Direct offshore and third-party partners to ensure excellence in survey execution.
- Maintain stringent data governance, privacy, operational risk management, and compliance standards.
- Facilitate workforce reporting, analytics, and insights to aid organizational decision-making.
Candidate Profile
- Extensive, practical experience with the Qualtrics Employee Experience Platform or similar enterprise survey systems.
- Proven track record managing large-scale global employee surveys with populations exceeding 20,000 individuals.
- At least 8 years of expertise in survey methodology, employee listening, and related research.
- Strong project management skills demonstrated through leadership in complex survey deployments.
- In-depth knowledge of data governance, privacy protocols, and risk management practices.
- Experience with advanced survey data analysis techniques such as text analytics and sentiment analysis.
- Experience integrating survey platforms with HR systems and cloud analytics is preferred.
- Qualifications in Industrial/Organizational Psychology, Behavioral Science, Statistics, Analytics, or related fields.
- Certifications in Qualtrics or other relevant employee survey platforms are advantageous.
