Role Overview

The Program Manager for Cyber Technology will lead and manage a significant multi-year initiative to consistently advance ANZ's cybersecurity capabilities and robustness. This position requires collaboration across diverse technology and business groups to unify teams around a shared mission, aiming for meaningful risk reduction and securing the wellbeing of customers, colleagues, and the institution.

This prominent role involves governance, strategic planning, delivery oversight, and reporting, ensuring that efforts remain cohesive, coordinated, and outcome-driven. The role demands a balance of strategic foresight and hands-on leadership to drive complex projects from inception to successful completion, producing enduring benefits within ANZ's technological environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Direct the execution of ANZ's Cyber Technology Program, aligning projects with strategic goals, cyber objectives, and risk mitigation targets.
• Facilitate collaboration among technology, security, risk, and business stakeholders, fostering alignment, managing dependencies, and promoting joint accountability.
• Deliver governance frameworks, executive reporting, and actionable intelligence that aid in decision-making and program supervision.
• Anticipate and manage risks, issues, and challenges to maintain steady progress across multiple workstreams and partners.
• Implement enduring cybersecurity capabilities, controls, and methodologies that enhance resilience, reduce risk, and provide sustained value.

Qualifications and Skills

• Proven experience managing complex technology, cybersecurity, or transformation programs within large-scale organizations.
• Ability to balance competing priorities, coordinate dependencies, and ensure timely delivery in dynamic settings.
• Strong interpersonal abilities to engage senior leaders and unify teams towards common objectives.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity principles, risk management, and organizational resilience, with an aptitude for linking technical activities to business results.
• Experience collaborating across technology, security, risk, business units, and external partners.
• Effective communication skills for translating complex topics into understandable insights for diverse audiences.
