Banking Associate

Role Overview

The role involves managing key back-office banking operations such as Consumer Identification Program (CIP), Office of Foreign Asset and Controls (OFAC) compliance, account reconciliations, transactional processing, check research, and handling consumer-directed healthcare claims and Health Savings Account (HSA) inquiries. The associate will be responsible for ensuring all activities are performed within company policy and guidelines.

Core Responsibilities

• Process banking requests related to HSAs and notional claim requests while applying general and specific processing procedures accurately.
• Achieve daily productivity targets aligned with organizational goals.
• Interact professionally with internal and external stakeholders, responding to work requests within established Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
• Deliver consistent, high-quality work output including identifying metrics and trends, reporting these findings to senior management, and proactively addressing potential processing problems.
• Support daily operations by reviewing and optimizing workflow and procedures to improve operational efficiency.
• Maintain comprehensive knowledge of company policies, business practices, and product offerings.
• Undertake other duties and contribute to special projects as directed by supervisors or managers.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-departmental teams to achieve desired outcomes.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Possess a Bachelor's or Master's degree.
• Fresher or up to one year of experience in a banking operations role.
• Prior experience handling back-office support across multiple processing environments is preferred.
• Knowledge of Health Savings Accounts is an advantage.
