Key Responsibilities

• Maintain the quality and appealing presentation of bakery products including bread, cakes, pies, cookies, and rolls.
• Ensure the bakery department remains fully stocked and prepared for daily operations.
• Properly label and price all merchandise according to store guidelines.
• Comply with cold chain management procedures such as thermometer calibration, temperature logging, proper food handling, product rotation, sell-by, and expiration dates.
• Follow strict food safety and sanitation protocols through appropriate cleaning routines and food handling standards.
• Execute ordering, clearance sales, price adjustments, and product labeling accurately and timely.
• Prepare bakery items in line with thawing and baking instructions to maintain product quality and appearance.
• Secure bakery displays to ensure safety and proper presentation.

Compensation

The starting hourly wage for this position is $19.05.

Qualifications
