Role Overview

As a Baker at Dobbies Garden Centres, you will be a vital contributor to delivering an outstanding customer experience within our Restaurants. You will ensure the preparation of delicious bakery products, uphold food hygiene standards, and maintain high operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Preparing a variety of bakery items with quality and consistency, including bakery-to-go products for the food hall.
• Adhering strictly to statutory guidelines related to health & safety and food hygiene regulations.
• Collaborating with the restaurant team to provide customers with their bakery items presented to a high standard.
• Expanding your knowledge on dietary needs, allergen information, and health & safety protocols.

Candidate Profile

• A strong passion for food and dedication to delivering excellent customer experiences.
• Collaborative team player with confident communication skills and eagerness to acquire new skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and busy work environment.
• Proven experience as a Baker producing large volume bakery items effectively.
• Excellent organizational skills paired with enthusiasm to execute tasks competently.
• Food safety certifications are preferred but not mandatory.
