Role Overview

This full-time, onsite Baker position in Dubai involves preparing a diverse array of bakery products daily, such as breads, cookies, pastries, and other baked items. The Baker adheres to established recipes and quality standards, handling ingredient measurement and mixing, product shaping, baking, oven monitoring, and maintaining strict food safety and hygiene protocols.

Key Duties

  • Measure and mix ingredients precisely to create various baked goods.
  • Shape dough and bake products while monitoring ovens closely to ensure quality.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workstation and bakery equipment.
  • Manage production schedules to meet daily batch targets efficiently.
  • Assist with inventory control of baking supplies.
  • Collaborate with the team to refine existing recipes and assist in developing new bakery items.
  • Ensure products consistently meet presentation and quality standards.

Candidate Profile

  • Hands-on experience in bakery operations with skills in producing a variety of baked goods.
  • Expertise in precise food preparation, including accurate measurements, timing, and quality monitoring.
  • Ability to produce cookies with consistent taste, texture, and appearance.
  • Knowledge and experience with bread making techniques such as dough handling, proofing, and baking.
  • Understanding of food safety and hygiene standards, including proper storage and sanitation practices.
  • Strong time management skills to juggle multiple batches and meet production deadlines.
  • Willingness to work early shifts, weekends, and public holidays as needed.
  • Previous commercial bakery or pastry kitchen experience preferred; formal culinary or baking education is an added advantage.
