Job description
Role Overview
The Trust and Safety engineering team is dedicated to safeguarding users from harmful content and abusive behavior. By building various core systems like content moderation tools, rule engines, feature engines, human moderation platforms, and risk insight systems, this team ensures TikTok delivers a secure and enjoyable user experience across its services.

Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain trust and safety related features and systems for international live streaming products.
- Work on enhancing safety procedures, improving user perceptions, boosting review efficiency, and constructing strategy platforms.
- Ensure the reliability and scalability of systems to support high concurrency and large daily active user bases.
- Analyze complex business requirements to devise effective solutions addressing live streaming safety challenges.
Qualifications
Minimum:
- Completion or nearing completion of a Bachelor’s or higher degree in Software Development, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Proficient in designing data structures, algorithm construction, and experience in at least one programming language such as Python, Go, PHP, C++, or Java.
Preferred:
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze root causes and summarize findings effectively.
- Excellent communication and ability to collaborate within teams.
- Proactive, optimistic personality with a solid sense of responsibility, self-motivation, and service mindset.
