About the Role

We are seeking a Golang-centric Backend/Fullstack Developer to join a dynamic team in Business Bay, Dubai. This on-site position offers a salary of £40,000 per year. The role involves building the foundational services that power our platform, focusing on performance, reliability, and scalability.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend systems and APIs primarily using Golang.
• Design database schemas and model data to ensure optimal system performance.
• Collaborate with frontend teams and integrate third-party services as needed.
• Engage in full stack development when beneficial, including frontend tasks.
• Make strategic decisions on infrastructure, tools, and system architecture.
• Produce clean, maintainable, and well-tested code to support platform growth.

Candidate Requirements

• Minimum of four years of professional experience specializing in Golang development.
• Strong understanding of API design, database management, and system architecture principles.
• Ability to manage feature development from conception through deployment independently.
• Pragmatic approach to problem-solving, balancing rapid delivery with long-term maintainability.
• Familiarity with frontend technologies like React is advantageous but not mandatory.
