Role Overview

This position is a full-time, on-site role at the Cooroy facility as a crucial member of the paint shop team. The successful candidate will support the growing fleet through hands-on workshop duties ensuring aircraft readiness and quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare metallic and composite surfaces for coating application.
• Assemble sub-components prior to painting processes.
• Mix and apply primers and paints to aircraft surfaces according to technical specifications.
• Keep detailed and accurate records of all performed tasks.
• Manage paint shop supplies and maintain equipment, including the procurement of consumables.
• Ensure all work aligns with specified standards, safety regulations, and quality expectations.

Candidate Profile

• Hold Certificate III in Aircraft Surface Refinishing, Automotive Refinishing, or possess comparable trade experience.
• Exhibit acute attention to detail and a strong commitment to upholding quality standards.
• Communicate clearly and professionally within a team environment.
• Be motivated to work within the structured, safety-critical aviation setting.
• Demonstrate reliability, initiative, and enthusiasm to contribute to a developing business.
