About the Role

We seek a skilled Automotive Service Advisor to act as the key point of contact for customers during the vehicle servicing and repair cycle. This position demands thorough understanding of customer needs, preparation of detailed repair orders, collaboration with workshop technicians, and delivery of timely status updates to ensure exceptional service quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome customers and ascertain their specific vehicle service or repair needs.
• Perform comprehensive vehicle inspections and create precise job cards documenting required work.
• Communicate necessary repairs, maintenance tasks, parts, labor details, and estimated costs clearly to customers.
• Liaise effectively with technicians and workshop staff to guarantee prompt job completion.
• Track vehicle servicing progress and deliver frequent updates to customers.
• Secure customer consent for any additional repairs identified during servicing.
• Ensure meticulous documentation and timely closing of repair orders.
• Coordinate among Parts, Warranty, Insurance, and other relevant units to streamline processes.
• Conduct thorough final inspections and confirm readiness of the vehicle before delivery.
• Clarify executed work and billing details upon handing over the vehicle to customers.
• Handle customer complaints with professionalism, collaborating with appropriate teams to resolve issues.
• Maintain accurate records and update customer and vehicle data in the CRM or Dealer Management System (DMS).
• Strive to meet targets related to labor sales, customer satisfaction, upselling, and retaining service business.
• Adhere to manufacturer and dealership policies, quality standards, and safety procedures.
