Automation Lead - BIM / AEC

About the Role

We are looking for a seasoned Automation Lead with 6 to 8 years of experience in BIM Automation, especially skilled in Revit, Dynamo, and related automation technologies. The position focuses on advancing automation initiatives to enhance productivity in BIM workflows spanning Architecture, Structure, and MEPF disciplines. This role is based in Indore or Nagpur, India.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the BIM automation department, spearheading automation projects across multiple AEC disciplines.
• Analyze and identify complex, repetitive tasks and develop effective automated solutions to save time.
• Oversee the creation, testing, deployment, and maintenance of Dynamo scripts, Revit plugins, and other automation utilities.
• Define and implement automation standards, workflows, SOPs, and best practices across projects.
• Work closely with BIM Managers, Coordinators, Project Leads, and technical teams to pinpoint high-impact automation opportunities.
• Offer expert technical support and solutions for advanced Revit and Dynamo automation needs.
• Manage the rollout of automation solutions across various projects and monitor their impact on productivity.
• Conduct technical reviews, organize training sessions, and facilitate knowledge sharing within BIM teams.
• Mentor automation specialists and foster growth within the automation team.
• Evaluate and adopt emerging technologies such as AI tools, Revit API, Python scripting, C#, plugins, and other relevant AEC tech.
• Track performance metrics like automation efficiency, productivity gains, and ROI, reporting insights to leadership.
• Continuously investigate and recommend innovative tools and technologies to improve BIM workflows.

Candidate Profile

• Possesses 6 to 8 years of hands-on experience in BIM, Revit, Dynamo, or AEC automation roles.
• Demonstrates strong practical expertise in both Revit and Dynamo environments.
• Has a profound understanding of BIM workflow processes across Architecture, Structure, and MEPF sectors.
• Track record of leading automation efforts that significantly boost productivity.
• Proficient in programming languages and tools such as Python, Revit API, and C#.
• Experienced in creating and deploying Revit plugins, scripts, and other automation tools.
• Capable of translating project and business requirements into effective technical solutions.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to troubleshoot complex automation challenges.
• Excellent communication skills, stakeholder management capabilities, and leadership qualities.
• Enthusiastic about driving innovation in BIM, automation, AI, and digital transformation initiatives.
