AutoCAD Designer

Position Overview

We are looking for a meticulous and experienced AutoCAD Designer to be part of our team. This role entails generating, updating, and finalizing technical drawings utilizing AutoCAD software while collaborating closely with engineers and project managers to ensure accuracy and smooth project execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Create 2D technical drawings and schematics aligned with project requirements.
• Interpret blueprints and sketches effectively.
• Engage with engineers and project leads to obtain requirements and incorporate feedback.
• Revise designs in response to project updates and client needs.
• Employ AutoCAD software proficiently to produce detailed, high-quality drawings.
• Apply standards, templates, and libraries to maintain consistency in outputs.
• Verify that all drawings meet company standards, industry norms, and client specifications.
• Conduct periodic reviews and audits to ensure precision.
• Organize and maintain a comprehensive archive of project files and drawings.
• Prepare documentation and reports outlining project progress.
• Compile quantity survey sheets with corresponding budgets.

Qualifications & Skills

• Educational background such as ITI in Draughtsman or Diploma in Civil or Mechanical Engineering, or related disciplines.
• Minimum of 2 years experience working as an AutoCAD Designer or Draftsperson.
• Expertise in AutoCAD with a focus on 2D design.
• Knowledge of additional CAD software like Revit is advantageous.
• Solid grasp of technical drawings, materials, and construction techniques.
• Keen attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Good communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively within teams.

Working Environment

• Primarily office-based, with occasional site visits when necessary.
• May require working extra hours to adhere to project timelines.

Compensation and Location

The position is full-time based in Ahmedabad, with salary aligned to experience levels. The monthly pay range is INR 25000 to 40000.
