About the Role

Advance Auto Parts, North America's leading provider of aftermarket automotive parts, seeks a dedicated Auto Parts Clerk for the London, Ontario location. This role blends a passion for vehicles with delivering exceptional customer service. Key Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service by building strong, trustworthy relationships with customers, coworkers, and management.
• Drive sales by utilizing advanced selling techniques to meet individual and store sales goals.
• Support a positive team atmosphere by collaborating effectively with peers in a friendly, cooperative manner.
• Utilize your in-depth automotive system and parts knowledge to assist customers with problem diagnosis and solutions, including point-of-sale system proficiency.
• Resourcefully obtain parts through various channels such as special orders and secondary suppliers.
• Maintain thorough knowledge of store operations and inventory management processes.
• Demonstrate dependability by reliably completing assigned tasks, including store opening and closing duties, and contributing to workplace safety.

Candidate Profile & Requirements

• A high school diploma or GED is required.
• Flexibility to work various shifts including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Previous experience in the automotive industry with strong parts and systems familiarity.
• Proven capabilities in customer service and sales-driven environments.
• A proactive, reliable attitude with excellent learning ability and problem-solving skills.
• A positive, team-oriented approach to work.

Compensation & Benefits

• Hourly wage ranging approximately from 17.95 to 21.55 Canadian dollars, dependent on geography, retail experience, automotive knowledge, education, leadership experience, and applicable shift differentials.
